The Cine Fest Petrobras Brasil - NY, an official event of The
Inffinito Festival Circuit presented by international events and production company
Inffinito, has proven itself a fundamental and valuable resource for introducing Brazil’s finest new films to US audiences. Cine Fest’s devotion to diversity of style and topic, ease of accessibility, affordable ticket prices and stellar quality of curation mark the Festival as a can’t-miss opportunity for both world cinema aficionados and neophytes alike. All films shown at the Festival celebrate their New York debut; many will be presented to an international audience for the first time. The lineup represents the best of the most recent slate of Brazilian produced films in both long and short form and is intended for all audiences. All films are shown with English subtitles.

The Tribeca Cinemas, located at 54 Varick Street in Manhattan, NYC. The Festival culminates on
June 19 with a very special combination awards ceremony, performance and world premiere screening as part of
City Parks Foundation’s SummerStage in Central Park. This event will feature the announcement of this year’s Crystal Lens winner for the Festival’s outstanding film, a live performance by the spectacular Brazilian Samba star
Martn’ália and a first look at the outstanding new documentary
Elza by Izabel Jaguaribe and Ernesto Baldan, exploring the career and life of legendary musician Elza Soares.
