Balance of the 3rd Brazilian Film Festival of London – 2011

The British capital hosted the 3rd Brazilian Film Festival of London from September 6th to the 10th, during the 5-day Festival were screened the best Brazilian productions from the 2010/2011 cycle.

Opening Night took place at the illustrious BAFTA in a sold-out session with prestigious guests. The Competitive Screenings happened at the Odeon Covent Garden, where 09 shorts and 09 feature films, all never seen in England, where screened. On Closing Night it was announced that the public had chosen The hours’ Home by Heraldo Cavalcanti and the feature film Heads Over Heels by Roberto Santucci, as the best films of the 3rd Brazilian Film Festival of London.

The Festival was an overwhelming success and attracted not only Brazilian residents but British citizens that love and admire Brazilian Culture.
