
ABOUT INFFINITO
Founded in 1995 by the partners Viviane B. Spinelli, Cláudia Dutra e Adriana L. Dutra, Inffinito is today one of Brazil's most important cultural producers and the biggest window for Brazilian cinema abroad. The group, made by Inffinito Núcleo de Arte e Cultura, Inffinito Eventos e Produções (Brazil) and Inffinito Foundation (US), has as its objective the promotion and diffusion of Brazilian cultural production. Amongst its projects, the Inffinito Circuit of Festivals deserves special mention, as it takes the best of Brazilian audiovisual to the World.
In all 37 editions of exclusively Brazilian cinema festivals have taken place, reaching an audience of more than 700 thousand people.
The Inffinito Festival Circuit is part of the official calendars of the cities where it takes place.
In 2010, the itinerary includes ten cities in seven different countries, starting in Canudos (Bahia) in March, going on to New York (June), Vancouver (July), Miami (August), London (September), Buenos Aires and Montevideo (October), Rome (November), Madrid (December) ending in Barcelona (December).
Beyond the annual circuit, the company also produces films in all formats: feature, medium and shorts, as well as products for TV. These are: the documentary "Smoking I Wait" (2009) by Adriana L. Dutra; "Smoking I Wait: the series" (TV series child of the same name documentary, recently aired by Canal Brasil in five episodes); "Pioneers", documentary by Viviane B. Spinelli and Dulce Bressane (2008); and "Caravana MT: Concertos Pela Paz no Trânsito" (2008) by Viviane B. Spinelli. For 2010 there is a feature length documentary in production.
As well as this, Inffinito promotes cultural events such as "Verão do Morro," great success in 2009 in the Morro da Urca and the concert "Conexão Samba," in Apoteose Square. Its 15 years of experience which have made the group recognized by being innovative, strong, dynamic and creative, capable os consolidating the image of Brazil in new markets.
