MIAMI
The BRAZILIAN FILM FESTIVAL OF MIAMI represents a gateway
for Brazilian cinema to enter the U.S.A. - the world leader
of the film industry. It is the only cultural Brazilian event
in the official calendar of the City of Miami and it is supported
by the City and local Government.
Thanks to BRAZILIAN FILM FESTIVAL OF MIAMI, the Brazilian
cinema earns space for screening, distribution and implementation
of new business, attracting international partners and contributing
to the developing of trades between Brazil and the U.S.A.
For the ninth edition we will be counting on the presence
of representatives of North and Latin American segments of
distribution and exhibition, Brazilian producers, actors of
the selected films and a public that surpasses 30.000 spectators,
the number recorded in 2004.
OBJECTIVE: Market and
Reflection
-Consolidation of an industry of distribution to the Latin
American marketplace;
-Development of new audience;
-Reflection and exchange of new markets;
-The commercialization of the Brazilian cinema to foreign
